Wednesday Pictures

Well I got a few minutes to upload these pictures before church . I will quickly try to get a brief description. of all these pictures.

This is from the end of the building with our six rafters in place. You can see a wall towards the back left. That is a wall to the bathrooms. On the right side is the kitchen. Behind the kitchen is a Sunday School room. Here is another view of the rafters in place.
This is the roof sections that the nationals painted today. They look like steel sections, but they are actually made from concrete. Should be interesting to put those up.
This is Carlos, a national who took the week off of work to work with us here on the building site. He is a quiet guy, and a very hard worker.
This is Vichi. He is a character. As you can see from the smile on his face, he is always joking with us. He knows English pretty well. He is the one who owns the property where we are working. He is a lot of fun to be around, and we all tease him and he teases us all right back.
Again, thanks for all your prayers for us. We do appreciate all that you have done for us back home.

Please make sure someone takes some pictures or video of the CEMENT roof sections being put in place. I hurt just looking at those! Sometimes it is difficult to know exactly how to pray for people when they are on missions trips, but I think I will pray for strong backs and quick feet! Can you take a picture of the chicken foot in the salad please? How much sleep a night are you guys getting?

Thanks again for all the comments. Jan, I am glad that you made it home. ok on the train. Kathy, we do appreciate everyone who is praying for us. Anonymous, the cement sections are probably about 50-60 lbs. not nearly as bad as the rafters - probably 200 - 250 lbs. Thankfully we are almost done with those. If we have more of the chicken soup, we will try to take a picture of it. We were just glad we did not see the head of the chicken in the soup. Most of the time they do put it in, but we did not see it . The soup really was pretty good. As far as the sleep goes, we tend to get 6-7 hours - not too bad really. We are tired though just from the hard work. I don't think any of us really notice the elevation any more - we are very thankful for that.
