I tried to get Andrew to do this update today, but he declined. He says that he is fine - that's his update. So, I guess I will fill you in. We had another great day of work. The weather started out a little rainy but by the time we made it to the worksite, it had cleared and the sun was shining. Thanks to all who have been praying for good weather. We did get a lot accomplished today which hopefully you will be able to see once I get the pictures up later on tonight - hopefully. We were able to finish building the rafters, and then we moved to putting the rafters in place. This was quite a project that the four of us, Kevin, and Dale all worked on together. Andrew was mostly on the scaffolding, Dave and Dale were on the ground running around for what we needed, Kevin, Ron, and I were up and down the ladders and sitting on the top plate. There was one time where Dave and I were holding two ladders together to make a step ladder for Ron to climb. We wished we could have gotten a picture, but we thought we might re-enact it later on so that we could get the picture. It is amazing how much you have to think how to do things with what you have. It really is a lot of fun. We were able to get 6 of the 9 rafters in place with no injuries. Only Kevin fell off the ladder once, and we were able to catch him while he held himself up. Dale said that he told us not to get hurt.
Tonight we are eating at a resturant owned by someone in the church and then we will go to prayer meeting. I have no idea what to expect, but it should be interesting.
Thanks for all who have prayed for us - please continue!

Thanks for the update. Will let everyone know in Prayer Meeting tonite. We will pray for continued great weather. Are there no locals helping out? I don't see any around there.
Androoooo!
Marian - I know I have not showed many locals working - I did include some today. They are working with us, but most of the time I don't take pictures until the end of the day when everyone is cleaning up and not by the work that we have done. Today I think there were probably 10 that worked with us throughout the day. Tomorrow I know there will be a few more working with us.
Chris - Well said. Maybe one of these days I will get him to write the update.
